ILO is a tool for mobility since 1911.
ILO defines engines and mobility like no other trade mark does. ILO built engines for a variety of uses, such as motorbikes and small lorries. Throughout the 1950s and 60s, ILO was the largest German engines manufacturer. Without ILO’s two-stroke engines, motorization would have been unthinkable in the post-war era. They were a key element for a multitude of purposes.
In the digital era, a „self-driving chassis“ that can serve multiple purposes flexibly will become the new key element in mobility systems. Vehicles that can be adapted to the real transportation demands in a cost-effective manner will be the success factor for future mobility.
